About the Project
Ode partnered with the Songwriters Association of Canada and Kilometre Music Group to host a three-day South Asian writing camp in Kilometre’s iconic studios. Designed to bridge the gap between South Asian artists and studio access, the camp provided an educational experience to develop 16 emerging talents. With the support of sponsors and a roster of producers who have worked with names like Burna Boy and Director X, the camp culminated in two artist deals, a curated panel on the rise of Punjabi music at Canadian Music Week, and two songs set for release later this year.
